Should we go to the emergency room?
My older dog has had this lump on her for many years. Her doctor didn’t want to do surgery because of her age. She’s 14. It looks like a blood filled sack. It’s never bothered her and now all of a sudden she’s licking it and there’s some skin missing. I don’t see any blood, but she’s never fussed with it before. Thoughts? I don’t want her to bleed to death in the night. I thought maybe she got a mosquito bite so I gave her a Benadryl.
