And for those of you who regularly run or bike with you dog, how long did it take to build up their endurance?

I have been introducing my newly adopted 2 y/o GSP to running. Currently we use a Ruffwear Flagline system for both runs and walks.

One commenter mentioned having a separate running harness on theory that the dog eventually will distinguish between the two, and thus will know it's time to run when the specific harness comes out.

I'm considering a Non-stop Dogwear Freemotion, in a color different from her "walk" harness.
