Has anyone had experience dealing with transferring a UK pension that was accrued during a working holiday? The total amount is roughly £4500 (GBP).

Craig's said they won't handle anything below $50,000 because of the cost and time involved. Another provider had a similar statement in their FAQs.

Which left me wondering - is it worth it? Is it better to just wait and have it paid out when I reach retirement?

It's (hopefully) not going to be my main source of retirement income but is still a significant amount of money and I want to be proactive in dealing with it while I still have the option of a tax free transfer.

I figured I can't be the only New Zealander with this problem!
