Alienware Aurora ACT1250 stuck in "Processing Order" since May 16, Build Complete is blank, May 21 delivery seems impossible

Hey guys,

I ordered an Alienware Aurora ACT1250 on May 9 and it's barely moved since then besides telling me queued for production (now it is saying processing order). Starting to get a bit worried, I don't know if it is a payment issue (using comenity but it says it is approved and taken off my available credit).

Current status:

  • Ordered/Confirmed May 9
  • "Processing Order" since May 16 (still stuck)
  • Build Complete is blank
  • The "scheduled for production" message disappeared around May 16

Got the confirmation email right away and the card has a pending charge, so that part seems fine. Dell chatbot is zero help. And I have gotten no email about the payment having issues.

My config:

  • Intel Core Ultra 7 265F (20-core)
  • RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
  • 32GB DDR5 RAM
  • 1TB NVMe SSD
  • 500W Platinum PSU
  • Basic onsite service

Just wondering:

  1. Has anyone with a recent ACT1250 or custom build stuck in Processing Order this long with zero confirmation for being in production.
  2. How is a May 21 delivery even possible if these are built in China? Transit alone takes at least a week right?
  3. Should I hit up phone or live chat support, or is this normal and it’ll just suddenly change to a different status?
  4. Any tips for getting actual useful info out of Dell? There customer support is shit.

First Alienware purchase since 2005 and I am not happy with any of the customer service experience.

If anyone had any recent similar experiences please let me know.
