i have shitty experience* past few months since i own that device, apparently this is the root cause.

*) instagram and facebook suddenly liking thousands of unknown page/account without my knowledge

*) browser always redirect to some news website

*) my ip getting flagged as malicious public ip address

*) whatsapp account (that i use for business) keep getting banned (because it was considered spam, while i don't do marketing using that whatsapp number at all) and i have no way to restore my account (they use LLM for the customer service email so cannot contact anyone at all)

not sure what else they steal from my phone

is it really make a difference the module, the digital snare, the digital ride
for the toms for sure it's make a difference because PDX-100 is normal sized unlike PDX-8

so like 20 years ago when i was using windows (and doing like sysadmin setup for all pc in my company), there's a software called Comodo Firewall, that will alert you whether a program trying to contact internet, what domain, whether you want to block or not

just now i watch a video about LittleSnitch on mac, that does similarly

is there anything similar in linux? i mean i can tail local dns query log, but that's just part of it..

i can use nethogs, but mostly it's just ip, and then merge both..

is there already made that will alert you which program contacting what domain (and port), i don't really need to block, just want to know since it's quite good information to scroll in my desktop

i filter out toms that too small (all 8 inch only including floor toms) also snare that too small (less than 10 inch), i also skip all rubber, so Avatar, Aroma, Hampback, Soundking, Pearl e-roadshow, almost all low/mid tier older -generation of Yamaha, and most of lower tier Roland didn't make the cut

also only those that available in my country (Simmons, Pearl e/MERGE, Lemon not available here), the price might differ, this one is global price (actually Yamaha is like half price in my country/900$ish since it's produced here). That donner beat max also should be around 600$ not 1.1K here, way cheaper than backbeat (one with lighted cymbal/shells).

note that it's not acoustic-style kits/shells, but about stand-style kits since some of the rack based kit have acoustic-style shells.

also more important note that some Roland pad the size is outer size (there's wide plastic so hit area is less than that, so still not really realistic feel/comfortable to play, especially one with 8 inch or lower td313 for example), while most other brands inch is always the exact inner mesh diameter (except older Yamaha, Aroma, and low-end unpopular kits that not in the list)

is it possible? because when i plug last input (i think it's input 11) then set the pad type to one of the tom pad type, it's still sounds like crash cymbal

while in yamaha dtx pro (dtx 6 module), when i plug to input 14, then set the pad type to one of the tom pad, it's automatically sounds like tom, same goes to roland v31

other drum kit that have dedicated tom4 port just plug and play tho
