Gastropexy - Looking for Advice
Hello, I have recently purchased a labrador puppy and am thinking about long term risks, surgeries, money to save for such things, etc. I am aware it would be a long time before he could have the surgery being only a pup at the moment but I'm not sure how common bloat is in labradors and when googling if people should or shouldn't do the surgery I'm receiving mixed reviews.
Does anyone here have experience with the surgery or bloat in their dog?
Did you have the surgery done for your pooch, why or why not?
I'm a long time dog owner but only recently a labrador owner and I've done so much research but this seems the one aspect without a definitive answer... just looking for opinions 😊
