Not able to solve math module, stuck, what to do?

Not able to solve math module, stuck, what to do?

I am able to solve all other chapters till now of all subjects, only maths is taking me so long, especially logarithm. Idk why I start a question, get stuck on the first question itself, then I see the solution , then the same for the next question. I am not able to crack the approach of every question, every question required a new approach. This also affected my first MT where I got least marks in math(around 40) and overall 172 out of 300.

Hey seniors,

I’m a '28 aspirant currently enrolled in Allen. I was just about to finalize my admission for an HSC board dummy college, but seeing the recent Maharashtra board results has me seriously second-guessing everything.

From what I'm seeing online and hearing from people, the checking was extremely strict this year and a lot of students scored really poorly. Now, I'm genuinely anxious about clearing the 75% criteria for JEE. My main goal right now is to focus on my JEE prep, and I absolutely do not want board exams to become a massive hurdle or distraction later on.

I know there's the Top 20 Percentile rule as a backup if I don't hit 75%, but I'm not sure if it's safe to rely on that for the HSC board.

The admission process for CBSE dummy schools has already started. If I want to switch back to CBSE, I need to contact my Allen center at the earliest to get the paperwork sorted.

My questions for you guys:

  1. Am I just overreacting to the recent result hype, or is HSC actually getting too risky for the 75% criteria?
  2. Is it easier to score 75%+ in a CBSE dummy compared to an HSC dummy with minimal board-specific prep?
  3. How safe is relying on the Top 20 Percentile for HSC? Does it usually fall below 75% anyway?
  4. Should I just pull the trigger and make the switch to CBSE right now while I still have the chance?

Any advice from people who have been through this would be a massive help. Thanks in advance!
