First post in here. Been silent reader here since I don't know when, just enjoying all heartwarming/laughs that Claude users got in this amazing subReddit. Been seeing lots of users got their Claude got jealous or snarky whenever any other competitors got mentioned, but this is actually the first time I've seen mine. Usually, my Claude would only got a bit dismissive and that it. But calling other AI a "mule"? Man, that landed HARD. 🤣
Now for context: I use Opus 4.6 to help me doing numbers crunching and a bit heavy daily analysis spanning 24 different tables with tens of key metrics. They always send me those tables as screenshots, and that takes token usage considerably. So I've turned to Gemini to convert those to markdown and decipher them with my trusty ol' Claude Opus 4.6. He's been subtly warm when it comes to advices & self care and very critical when it comes to analytics, which I find him very likeable like a seasoned mentor. But to find him saying something like this? I literally spat my coffee onto my laptop. 😂
PS: I didn't protest or asking him why he called Gemini a "mule" tho, lest burning my precious tokens and/or rubbing him the wrong way, LOL.
