At what point do you take your kids’ complaints about aches/pains seriously?

One of my 6 year old twins has been complaining on and off that his ear hurts. He was sick a couple weeks ago and didn’t complain about his ear then, it was only after he started getting better. He’ll say it hurts maybe once a day but otherwise acts totally fine and normal. He’s had strep with horrible ear pain to where he is sobbing and it’s obvious we need to go to the doctor. This random ear pain though? I just don’t know if I take him in just to see if there’s anything going on or not.

Youth baseball. Which team would you pick?

This is a *very* niche and silly situation so bare with me and even if you can’t relate (I don’t expect you to lol) any outside input would be appreciated because I’ve never been decisive in my life.

We are signing up for summer baseball and my twins (6) have the option of playing with their classmates and being coached by one of our good family friends (who is an ex MLB player) OR playing on a different team and being coached by their own ex MLB player dad. I know, I know. My husband could also assistant coach the other team with their classmates but our little league uses MLB team names so that coach is using the team he used to play for. You’re probably thinking “why tf does that matter?” LOL but apparently it does for these dads who are passionate about their alma maters (?) I also feel like it would be soo 🙄 for us to have not one but two ex MLB players coaching their team, so I’m leaning toward having my husband coach his own. But then at the same time my kids want to be with their school mates.

I know it’s so silly but what do we do yall 🫠
