I had an injury occur on April 21st and saw an orthopedist on the 28th. X-ray showed a possible lisfranc injury. I was given a boot and a knee scooter. I did not realize how complex and damaging these can be. I walked on this for a full week and I am walking some with the boot because my knee cannot handle the knee scooter and I had to work. I just need some advice of how to proceed. I don’t like the dr I am seeing but it’s through workers comp so I don’t get a second opinion unless they recommend surgery. I am including the X-ray. MRI results: Low-grade sprain of the Lisfranc ligament complex without tear. No widening of the interval and nonweightbearing MRI. No osseous injury at the metatarsal bases or cuneiforms. Subcutaneous edema at the dorsal midfoot.
