I get that when he was on the call with Skyler and police were there listening that he wanted to take all of the blame for his drug empire and make Skyler look innocent. But why didn’t Walt explain he didn’t pull the trigger to Skyler and Walt Jr. during ozymandias when Skyler accuses him of doing it? Like yeah he did cause Hank to die by being a drug lord and everything, but I think it would’ve been nice for them to know he wasn’t the one to actually kill him. He never wanted that and was never THAT far gone. He even let himself get arrested to let Hank get his win, Walt cared so much for him.

Or in felina when Walt goes to Skyler’s new apartment, that would’ve been a good time to clear things up.
