I consulted with a lawyer about 3 weeks ago and he said i qualify for chapter 7 but total with his and state fee is $3420. I dont have that kind of money so he advised to stop paying my credit cards and car loan so that i can come up with the funds. Since that consultation im about to reach that goal(maybe by this weekend) but im just curious if my creditors can sue me or if my car will get repoed. I wanna do this as soon as possible and i know i will get the funds soon but then the filing process might take another week. I just dont want bad consequences to happen because i stopped paying. I already started getting lots of phone calls from creditors and as of today, i am 30 days behind on my car loan
