Hey everyone! We’ve got a couple of updates:

1. Series Chat: Smoother Story Progression
We’ve improved how Series Chat handles unexpected user behavior. Previously, going off-script could cause the story to lose its phase entirely.

Now, even if you take the story in a surprising direction, Caffy will work to keep you within the current phase and guide you toward the next trigger naturally. Less derailing, more immersion.

2. Introducing Lungo Plus ☕
We’re introducing two tiers of story responses:

- Lungo: A lighter response for casual play (free)
- Lungo Plus: Faster, longer responses for deeper immersion (available to all subscribers)

Starting today, free Lungo will see a cap on individual response length. Longer responses will be trimmed at the limit. Spend 1 Bean to reveal the full reply. This helps us keep Caffy running sustainably for everyone while we grow. If you’d rather not think about it, upgrading to a paid plan removes the cap entirely and unlocks Lungo Plus.

Hi everyone! We have some exciting updates this week!

1. Simplified Format
Did broken formats ever bother you during your chat? We are revamping the format so that you’ll less likely encounter broken formats.

Get ready to say goodbye to asterisks (*). We are rolling out the simplified format. Feel free to continue using the asterisks, but you don’t have to wrap your narrations with asterisks anymore.

The only punctuation you’ll need is the quotation marks(“”) for your dialogues.

2. Hidden Images in Series
Now, Series support hidden images (aka “dynamic images”) where you can put in images and map them as you please!

3. Improved Rewind in Game Mode
Now when you rewind in game mode, all the stats will be rewound to that previous phase automatically! This will give you more freedom and confidence to explore between phases in our game mode.

New Doppio coming soon
As announced, we’ll replace Doppio with another immersive, intense, and fun model this week. Stay tuned!

Go to My Page. We added Session management, your new home for everything session-related.

View all your active sessions, jump straight back into a specific story, or clean up slots you no longer need. All in one place, no digging required.

Need more session slots?
Free users get total 3 slots for Blend and total 3 slots for Series.
Once you hit your slot limit, you'll need to delete an existing session to start a new one.

Subscribers get unlimited slots:

• Roaster members: unlimited sessions (full unlimited sessions per work)
• Barista members: unlimited sessions (up to 3 concurrent sessions per individual work)

1. Free plan slot limits

To keep Caffy running and growing, we're updating how slots work on the free plan.

Free users will get 3 Blend slots and 3 Series slots.
You can always delete the session and open up new sessions.
Lungo will still be free!

You can always delete a session to open up a new one.

>If you already have more than 3 sessions open, don't worry — we're not touching your existing sessions. You can still play them!

We're working to strike a sustainable balance between growing engagement, maintaining resource-heavy features like dynamic image mapping, and keeping the free experience alive.

Want unlimited slots? All subscribers get unlimited Blend and Series slots, plus access to unlimited premium AI models.

1. Lungo update — language fix

We updated Lungo configuration so that it won't generate responses in a third language. Responses will now follow the language you write in, defaulting to English.

1. Affogato update — less rejections

We updated Affogato's configuration so that Mimo V2 Pro is less likely to refuse generating RP stories. If you were running into frustrating rejections, this should be noticeably better, especially in R+ works.

1. New user onboarding — premium trial

New users will now get to experience the premium plan for up to 30 turns including faster responses and memory features.

Bug fixes & Improvements

1. Character references are now supported when generating Webtoon openings and endings! The AI will recognize your characters' faces during opening/ending creation, so expect fewer errors.

2. When generating images, the AI now references creator-uploaded character images more closely for better accuracy.

3. Characters without a profile image in their settings will now be displayed with their initials instead.

NEW: Hidden Images

Hidden Images are now available in Blend! Creators can add images that match their character's situation, emotions, and more — including background images. On web, these appear at the cover position; on mobile, they display as a background wallpaper. Unlocked images can also be viewed in the Image Collection in your settings! 🎨
