Is a psych phd worth it?
Hi guys! I am currently an undergrad in psychology at UC Berkeley and just finished my first year with a 3.5 gpa. I only have 6 more major requirements and I hope to be done with the degree in 1.5 years. In these upcoming years I hope to get research, raise my gpa, and present at conferences.
My end goal is to pursue a PHD in Clinical Psychology but am having doubts about my gpa, the time it takes, and how difficult it is to get in. Can anyone provide insight into if they think this is worth it or not? Does the pay and outcome justify the schooling?
