Carno’s RETURN

Yes, it’s me. The guy who massacred his Carnotaurus figure in an attempt to fix it. After weeks of. Rubbing it harshly with Clorox bleach wipes, and mr. clean magic eraser I was able to get the acetone stains off, however the teeth were another challenge as I couldn’t get the red stain off AT ALL despite trying to use almost every bleach and remover I could find. so I have to thank the sub Reddit because somebody suggested I use bone white to paint it and I should’ve done that from the start because I think it came out amazing. I appreciate the suggestions from all of u. Here are some pics I made with the figure and just because they’re in scale as I threw in some 3.75 inch Star Wars figures because why not, lol it’s in scale.

Help🥲

To make a long story short, I tried to fix the teeth with acetone however I didn’t realize how dangerous it was for plastics until after. so now I have two problems in my hand. 1. How do I get the red stain paint off the teeth and 2. how do I get this white substance off my figure?😢 because it’s strange. It’s not paint damage because whenever I wet it I see my original paint detail in there but when it dries up, it just comes right back. According to ChatGPT, which is not the most reliable it’s like acetone PVC damage.

Any tips on how to fix these issues?

It’s kind of a shame because I think these are some of the best in the line in my opinion😿, also just because it’s gonna be the hardest to tell what’s wrong with the allosaurus is that whenever I straighten the tail and then try to bend it to either to the left or right it will just end up bending up into a straight position. I guess I’m not alone with the ones from the new wave because there has been quality control issues with what feels like 50% of these figures🧍
