Best portable power stations for overlanding and emergency backup?

I’m looking for a fairly large power station for my truck, mainly for overlanding trips and backup power during outages. The important stuff for me is running a small fridge, charging camera and laptop batteries, keeping phones and lights going, and possibly supporting a 125-gallon aquarium if the power goes out. I’m comparing the Anker SOLIX C1000, EcoFlow DELTA 2, Bluetti AC180, and Jackery Explorer models. My budget is around $700–$1,200, and I’d like solar charging plus reliable charging from the truck, although I’m still trying to understand the difference between a 12V socket and an alternator charger. For this use, which system has the best balance of battery capacity, recharge speed, and long-term reliability? Also, is 200W of solar enough, or should I plan for more?

Best hair dryers in 2026 for daily salon use without spending Dyson money?

I’m a newer stylist and still using the heavy, painfully loud dryer I got in beauty school. It works, but after a full day my wrist and shoulder are done, and it takes forever on thicker hair. I’m looking at the Shark SpeedStyle, BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium, Sam Villa, and maybe a refurbished Dyson if I find one at a reasonable price. My budget is around $150–$300, and I care more about weight, drying speed, durability, and how it performs after months of daily use than fancy attachments. For stylists who use their dryer all day, which one has actually held up? Also, has anyone switched from BaBylissPRO to Shark and noticed a real difference?

Best blender for smoothies that can handle thick frozen mixes every day?

I make a smoothie almost every morning with frozen berries, Greek yogurt, milk, protein powder, and sometimes banana. I like it very thick, almost spoonable, and my current blender struggles badly. I’m comparing the Vitamix Explorian, Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo, Nutribullet Pro, and maybe a refurbished Vitamix if that makes more sense. My budget is around $100–$400, but I’d rather spend more once than replace another blender in a year. The kitchen is small, so I’m also worried about a huge jar and a blender that sounds like a jet engine. For this kind of daily smoothie, is a full-size Vitamix really worth it, or would a personal blender handle the job better?
