California IHSS live-in parent provider here. My pay stubs show $0 Social Security (FICA) and $0 Medicare taxes. Does this mean I'm not earning Social Security credits for retirement? Is there any way to opt in or build credits while continuing to work as an IHSS live-in provider for my child? Thanks!
