I am dropshipping and I usually just input a fake number like ‘00000000001’ and it works fine. I’ve dropshipped 200+ items through Ali express using a fake number, but I have also had a couple missed deliveries and a few issues in the past with delivery and have had to contact mail companies overseas to sort it out myself. I know putting the number in there is mainly so that a 3rd party shipping company can contact them which I don’t mind, but I’m just afraid that if I put the customers phone number into the shipping information then they might get a text from Ali express and then want to return it once they find out it’s from Ali express. Is this something to worry about? My question is should I just use their phone number, use my number or just keep using a fake number?
