What’s wrong if dmk and admk form alliance after tvk fails to form govt. Isit against people’s mandate ? What happened to the people’s mandate who voted for congress who were in support of dmk ? If they wanted tvk , people who voted for congress cud have voted for tvk right ? U cant bend the narrative according to ur parties. Tvk even criticised dynasty politics of dmk and went on to form alliance with congress who follow the same dynasty politics.
Ethically if what tvk and congress did was right then the same goes to dmk and admk alliance. Both are the same thing and people have been fooled but Tvk may get the upper hand in the next election by campaigning it as 2vs 1 to form the government narrative.
Also saw some news saying that Tvk wud resign all mla if dmk and admk form alliance . Dmk said that it respects people’s mandate and will allow tvk to form the govt, but here is tvk threatening to resign if the other two parties form alliance. If tvk can do this for the party it is not related to, then dmk can more confidently resign mla saying that Tvk formed alliance with congress and took the mla who got vote from dmk supporters. If the people who voted for congress wanted tvk, then they cud ve voted for tvk directly instead of congress mla who was in alliance with dmk.
From what I see from this situation , idk if Dmk is power hungry or tvk for asking their mla to resign if the opposite parties form alliance if tvk fail to form the government.
I understand tat a new party must be given breathing time , but do u guys even think that Tvk wud take action on the mla who cut cake with a sword ( which is a criminal offence) considering the shortage of mla to form the government. I m not saying that no other party has done it but they people voted for change right ? I know no one is perfect but please keep in mind the same thing when u talk for tvk against other parties.
And also from my personal opinion. when people expect change, they should also be ready to change before they vote for change . They voted to take out 70 year old party but used the same old voting for actor to achieve it. This shud ve been done to an eligible leader and not to an actor.
I do know dmk is corrupt and voted for them so did the voters in 74 constituencies. They felt the reign was good. All I can say is excellent campaigning by tvk and the political strategist Prashant Kishor and John arokiaswamy. And let’s also not their social media head CTR Nirmal Kumar who is from the BJP social media wing.
