Shug’s bagels

I’m a bagel snob from New Jersey, and sadly most bagel recommendations I get in atx end up being mid or flat out bad. I have seen a flood of posts across platforms about this new place Shugs and I figured I’d try it out.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, they’ve got a good boil and bake system for sure and you can even see it behind the counter being made. These were really solid bagels, and the fact they made a good Taylor ham egg and cheese was lovely for my north Jersey soul. I’ve had worse bagels in the northeast before, so I think the hype is fair considering the overall lack of high quality bagels down here. I’ll def be going back

PASSED!! Thank you!

Passed on my first attempt!! Quick breakdown:

Studying: Started in mid-April with the course, so this whole process was a little over 2 months:
-AR 35 PDU course via Udemy
-200 ultra hard questions from AR: 71.5% 143/200 correct
-Study hall full mock exams: 73% Saturday 6/27, 78% Sunday 6/28
-Reading a lot of these Reddit posts and getting nervous lol

Exam:
Biggest takeaway- apply the mindset!! I watched the mindset videos each morning before the practice exam as well as the morning of the exam. When in doubt I applied the mindset, usually this removes at least 2 options and makes the guessing 50/50 rather than 1/4 chance. Focusing on the mindset is the best advice I got from this Reddit group.

There were 0 drag and drop questions. I personally didn’t even practice any of them besides the mock questions in the AR Udemy course as I knew there would only be a few if any.

Multiple answer questions were a bit tricky, usually with 2 obvious answers and then a tougher decision about which answer was the third correct choice. I’d review those some more if you’re finding difficulty with them on the study hall.

I wore blue, and tonight I will get some cake! Thank you all for sharing your experiences and helping me pass on the first try!
