My standalone I-130 has been pending for a year and is currently at the Los Angeles Field Office.

After a congressional inquiry, USCIS responded:

"The petitioner and beneficiary will be scheduled for an eligibility interview once an interview slot becomes available."

Has anyone received a similar response from a field office? How long did it take to actually get an interview scheduled?

Does this mean they're genuinely planning an interview, or is it another generic response that could lead to months and months of waiting?

I'd appreciate hearing about your timelines and outcomes.
