Long story short, I am eyeing a MK12 SPR to become my primary, however I typically am not in the business of doing SF impressions, just because it can become somewhat "cringe" at times. If I do decide to go with a MK12 and I show up to a MilSim West event as a LRS (Successor to LRRPs during GWOT), am I going to get the "It's an SF specific weapon, you can't use it"? Not sure how much of a stickler the Cadres will be. If it is a problem, I have no issue going with an M16A4 or the like.

Looking for some input.
