HOW ARE YOU ALL DEALING WITH RIDICULOUS POWER CUTS. A drop of rain and current gone for hours. I've actually reached my breaking point

Thinking of buying an inverter, but I don't want to power whole house or room, just to power my pc and router. So won't need typical inverter installation. I'm Thinking of plugging the inverter directly to wall socket and use extension power board. Is this possible?

Anybody who has installed inverter, is my plug and play setup possible?
