Born and raised in the west side suburbs and grew up going to Max’s Deli in Rocky River through the 80’s to 90’s. I must have had their Oreo Cheesecake a hundred times.

When Max’s closed I began searching for a comparable Oreo cheesecake. The Cheesecake Factory version doesn’t hold a candle, nor does the version sold at Joe’s Deli.

Now a grown ass adult, I began making my own out of desperation. Still never quite nailing it.

Today, I visited the Manhattan Deli in Willoughby. My lunch mate asked for a cookie to go and I decided to get a slice of their Oreo cheesecake, already bracing for disappointment.

Folks, I’m telling you, THIS IS THE EXACT OREO CHEESECAKE that Max’s served. One bite brought back a flood of memories.

I’m sharing this because I cannot be the only one. Max’s was insanely popular. I don’t know about any of their other desserts but this damn Oreo Cheesecake is THE BOMB.

Hello, I’m an executive with a solid six figure verifiable annual income that just filed for divorce. I need to find a place east of Willoughby. I have a small crate trained dog who goes to daycare M-F and is under 15lbs.

I do not want to purchase due to the divorce and my soon to be ex has damaged my credit. Im in the midst of paying everything off but my credit is below 650 and I’m afraid I will be turned down by any decent places.

If you are a landlord and have a place LMK. I’d prefer 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a garage. Extra storage is a plus I will be downsizing.
