My partner and I (27) are headed to Malta in a few weeks. We have 3 nights booked in Xaghra and 2 nights booked in Sliema. However, due to our flight being moved we now have an additional night at the beginning of the trip. Any recommendations on where to spend an additional night?
Context: We like a little bit of everything while travelling - Good food, wine, hikes, swimming, beaches, clubbing, museums, exploring cities,architecture. We have a boat tour and wine tour booked in Gozo for the time we are there. For our two nights in Sliema we’re mostly planning to just explore Valleta and surrounding areas - try some good restos and maybe go clubbing for a night in Paceville.
We currently live in the downtown of a large and cold city (constantly surrounded by cars and people) so I’m mostly looking forward to a little peace and quiet and warm weather. We’re considering adding another night somewhere else in Gozo….. any recommendations? Or are there any spots on the main island that we should absolutely not miss?
(Any other suggestions for restaurants or things to do are appreciated as well :)
