Last event did show us imaginary friends can metarialise. Then isnt it possibble that Paimon to be meterialised imaginary friend of Traveler that lost his memory after they escaped Temple of space? Look there is no imaginary friend of Paimon and Traveler. This mean Paimon is forgetten imaginary of Traveler and thats why noone from Teyvat knows origin of Paimon
