After the initial excitement of discovering how wonderful projectors are; sadly over the last year I’ve neglected it over the ease of the TV. My tried and true Benq 1070 would hang from the ceiling and I’d always feel a twinge of guilt seeing its little orange light on; waiting to be activated . The little effort it took to close the curtains, pull down the screen and turn off the lights was enough excuse to just watch through my relatively measly TV.
Last night was a big boxing night and after months, I took the two minutes to set up watching on the big screen.
Magic! Huge sharp picture and rich colors. So much more like being part of it than watching on TV. I’d forgotten once again how different the experience is.
Going to try to finish disc 2 of Titanic after 3D tonight!
