Passed the 24 today!

Wow I am so relieved for that to be over. The stress over the past week was worse than the test itself. That’s not to say the test was easy, it was definitely challenging but in different ways than I thought. What they say about reading comprehension is true, a lot of questions were so long that you had to scroll the see the answer choices.

There are plenty of point & click questions that eases the parts where you’re like “how am I seeing this for the first time” type questions. I probably had 50ish questions that I marked for review and did and up changing a few just from realizing I was reading the question wrong so just be super careful. Had about 30 minutes left and had no idea if I passed, I was leaning on more of the no side until I saw the Pass on the screen.

I honestly wiped the test from my brain once I started driving home so I don’t remember too much content wise. I can say to know your market centers as this caught me off guard the most. I definitely studied too much on regulations & restricted stock rules than I did on market making and I’m lucky it didn’t bite me.

I used Kaplan only & supplemented with Dean & Ken’s videos. I owe the world to Dean & Ken, I truly couldn’t have done it without them.

Has anyone who has taken the test recently and had questions regarding the new gifting rule, did you notice if they updated the question from $100 to $300 per year? My Q bank questions still reflect $100 so curious if this has been updated on the actual test.
