This or that
Ok I am choosing between two plants. I have two tall trellises from my mom on the side of my detached garage. I can see it clearly from my kitchen window so I want to grow something there to enjoy. The space is part sun with a good bit of shade nearest the wall where the trellises are. I have considered Woodvamp aka climbing hydrangea or Virgins Bower aka Clematis Virginiana. Any strong opinions? I’ve heard both can do well in part shade. Both are white blooms. I purposely avoided the idea of a yellow bloom since the garage is yellow.
I could be swayed entirely by another suggestion.
Everyone here always kills with advice so I’m all ears.
