grading dilemma
I took a class in which the sessions are moderate by a TA and the prof. is available for recorded lectures/ office hours. There is a head TA but we dont interact with him on a regular basis. I told my ta I was unwell and TA said he was happy to excuse me. I followed up and he said he had excused me for that part, also the score showed zero so I followed up a few times via email and in class and the TA kept on saying I have been excused. When my final grade never factored in the exemption, I reached out to the instructor who said the head TA never excused you nor did I so we would not consider it. I showed him the clear communication with the ta and still they did not factor it. I feel like I would have withdrawn from the class or do a grade appeal but I was kind of demotivated by the way the instructor handled it and dont know what to do ?
