A Studious little wizard

Yet another player from the party!! They are playing a wizard, though i don't know what the subclass is!!

I got a few drawings and i was able to make this design with it :) I really like it, and most of the kitbashing in the outfit is a little harder to spot than usual which i'm quite happy about! There's actually a surprising amount of kitbashing on this thang.

But yeah, i'm quite happy with the look! Got an iconic vibe to it that i really enjoy, with the heavy blue primary :)

A frankly FABULOUS Witch

Ayyy! So, this is yet another character from the campaign i'm going to be playing in!! The player is planning to play the Witch class from some podcast that i don't know the name of (DM wanted the class to be available, seems very cool, with curses and whatnot!)

And the idea for design was to be very fabulous, with a rich vibe, as the character is implied to maybe be compensating for a poor childhood! Got some cool makeup and glitter going as well, which helps with making the character seem as charismatic as was planned!!

I'm really happy with the design, and with the insane amounts of kitbashing in this fuggin thing, i am glad it all paid off!!!

definitely one of my favorite minis i've made so far.

A paladin/cleric of the sun!

This is the character for a friend of mine in the campaign that i'm now playing in!! The design is inspired by one of Solar Simon's recent minis, which my friend was inspired by!

The armor was supposed to be full plate and ornamental, so i tried to keep especially the arms fully armored, by kitbashing some stuff together. Generally, despite the percentage not being maxed on this guy, the kitbashing was so extreme on this one that it CRASHED the editor for me and i had to reload!! i've never had to do that before. Crazy.

I also tried to make the base nice, by implying it's on a well travelled stone road, with the wheel and the grass growing between the stones.

There's a tiiiiny bit of clash with the different styles of armor, but the golden web stuff that i decided *not* to use here (waist, pants and boots) look soooooo baaaaaad.

the 2 Forms of my Dao Genie Warlock

Alrighty, so my Warforged character i made didn't really fit in the world that our DM is running, so i tried to play something more befitting the world!!

The world is pretty cool, being split into the waking world and the spirit world. And there's humans, spirit touched (all races besides human go into this) and spirits themselves. There's no gods, no hells, no fey.

So i wanted to play a spirit, which are allowed to cast *glamour* which is a human shapeshift spell, used to disguise yourself as a human.

So this is my take!! i tried to keep the design very close to the types of spirits that i was shown as a reference, and i think i did quite well. I also really like the human version. He's supposed to be a bit of a cheeky, mischievous but helpful spirit. I imagine him very similar to the god Hermes, where he's just a trickery little bastard who is not generally mean spirited.

I found out that Tortles can be small sized lmao

My character in a faerun campaign died to a massive pack of wolves (full on TPK i was the last one standing and died in a duel to the death with the last wolf, made a bad call and a bad roll and died, dooming us all)

So now i figured i wanna try playing something defensive. Then, we realized that 2 of our 4 players were gonna be playing small sized animal folk. That then ended in all of us deciding we would all now play small sized animal folk. I was going to play a harengon at first, but finding out that tortles can be small has been the funniest fuckin revelation ever

I love the idea of this mister five by five turtle guy waddling towards an enemy to clobber it with a big ass mallet. Also he of course has an unnaturally deep voice. It's to be expected.

But yeah i thought this was funny. He's also a Barbarian because of the hit die, and i gave him the tough feat. This fker better take a beating lmao

It's a dog eat dog world. Hellhound Tiefling Fighter

This is the character of one of my friends! He's playing with me in that new campaign i'm looking to play, where i'm playing that clockwork sorcerer.

i don't know a ton about the character itself, but what i *do* know is;

He is a hellhound tiefling from a noble lineage. He at some point got betrayed by a mercenary commander he was following, and his goal is to find enough people willing to stand with him to hunt that fucker down. I also know he has some beef with gnolls, but idk what that beef is. I just know that because he specifically requested to have the corpse be a gnoll corpse, and implied it to be lore relevant :0

Anyway, it was cool trying out some more interesting kitbashing techniques that i wanted to work with.

Here we go! The last campaign i was playing in seems to be fizzling out before it could really get started, so here i am making a new character, for what i assume will be a new campaign!!

Usually i would be demotivated by the constant back and forth of failed campaigns i've been a part of, but it's given me more opportunities to make minis, so i've actually quite enjoyed that.

This is Pendleton Tenpenny, a character that i've wanted to play for a while. A warforged with a transatlantic/british accent. I used to play this transatlantic character on a red dead 2 online RP server, and i LOVED that. I really wanna be able to do the voice again, and this is my way of doing that. A posh little droid man who can help make the DM's experience with rolling dice way way less interesting lmao

I was toying around with some more advanced kitbashing ideas, and this one is CRAZY weird under the roof. But it ended up looking great! :)

I might play this guy in an upcoming campaign i'm joining, but i'm not entirely sure yet. Might go for something a bit more grounded

This one is a character i've not really thought out yet. In a good bit, i'll play a Mad mage's dungeon campaign with my brother and a few other friends, and i decided i wanted to play something more mechanically useful than my last few characters.

So, i decided to make myself a little bisexual-coded twink artificer that i can play convincingly for a longer period of time.

Currently, i'm playing a Faerie Rogue in the campaign with these guys, and i got into a bit of a fight with my brother. Turns out, he is *not* a fan of a Thief to Hero type of story for my character, since it necessitates him to be a bit antagonistic every now and then.

I do agree i play the character quite douchey, which is much different from all the other character's i've played so far, but i also think there's definitely a good way to do that with other players. Doesn't seem very possible with my brother in particular, i assume maybe the baggage of brotherhood and a broken home will do that to ya, lol.

Anyway, this is supposed to be a much much more likeable character, that could do well to supply the party with items, as well as provide the party with an access to virtually every Artisan's tool. He's going to be a Cartographer Artificer, so there's a bunch of extra support feats for the entire party, like not needing direct sight for ally targeted spells, +1d4 on initiative rolls, etc.

I am anticipating playing him sort of like a jokey, aloof type of guy with a flimsy spine, like a coward with one to many jokes in his sleeve. But at the end of the day, super wholesome good character, who wants to do right by people, and sticks up for people who deserve it. But maybe not spiders. definitely not spiders. God he hates spiders. And scorpions. Just no creepy crawlies.

Oh, also, the kitbashing on this one was a bit interesting, the arm is entirely kitbashed obviously, and the pants are added via kitbashing as well, so that i could scale the lower side, to make it look like overhanging cargopants.

I also used a really fun trick with the decals to get the cuffs on the bottom of the pants to be monocolor without changing the inner color of the panels on the pants. I really do wish we had more pant options that don't have very recognizable patterns *already built in*. We need more shapes, without tons of extra details on them.

There we go! This is the mini of the player who replaced the Shadow monk who recently left our game. This character is an elf, which is quite interested within the lore we are playing in, since technically... there's no like.... fully male elves in our world? Apparently "male" elves are sort of like Treeants, like massive tree creatures. And the "female" elf is more like an androgynous class of creatures, which includes the male and female presenting people(?)

Thats as much as i've heard of it. It's a pretty interesting way to include an intersex/non-binary type of biology into the world. Not sure i understand the deep lore of it, but hey, i'm always here for some cool inclusivity!!

Anyway, we just had our first session today, and i had a pretty good time! There was a bit of a rough start with some of the roleplay etiquette (exploration rules in specific) and the combat balancing, but other than that it was amazing.

I'm very excited!
