Companies House - anyone else struggling with filing confirmation statement & verifying personal ID?
It’s a great that Companies House is now asking business owners to verify their ID to stamp out fraudulent behaviour, but its system is so hard to use!
I've repeatedly tried to file my confirmation statement but the system keeps failing.
I've so far spent about 2 hours trying to do it and have given up - emailing Companies House for help.
Verifying our Companies House ID to get the personal code is also very complicated.
I work in tech and am very patient with administrative tasks, & know tricks to resolve some technical issues, like changing browsers.
But I’m worried other business owners will really struggle with this and end up with fines or face being struck off?
Anyone else finding it tricky?
