About me:

I'm a 11th grader at a top public high school in Turkey. My GPA is 97.58/100 and I've ranked 1st or 2nd in my entire school consistently. My English is B2+ (TOEFL Gold Certificate).

Academics:

I'm the only student from my school to qualify for the provincial finals of the Turkish National Chemistry Science Olympiad — essentially the Turkish equivalent of a regional Science Olympiad competition. I also designed and built the official website for a research project affiliated with TÜBİTAK, which is Turkey's equivalent of the National Science Foundation. I ranked at the top of my province in a national knowledge competition and won 1st place in my school's inter-grade academic competition.

Internship — DSV (Top 3 Global Logistics Giant):

I interned at DSV, one of the world's three largest logistics and freight forwarding companies — a Fortune Global 500 firm operating in over 80 countries with revenues exceeding $20 billion. This wasn't a shadowing experience — I was embedded in real operations, gaining hands-on exposure to global supply chain management, freight logistics, and corporate finance workflows at an enterprise level. Very few high schoolers anywhere in the world get access to this kind of environment.

MUN & Leadership:

I'm heavily involved in Model United Nations — think competitive debate meets international diplomacy, where students represent countries and negotiate real-world policy. I won an Honorable Mention award at a regional MUN conference (given to only the top-performing delegates). I then represented Turkey at WEMUN at the actual United Nations Headquarters in New York City — the second largest MUN conference in the world. Beyond just attending, I single-handedly organized and led an international delegation to a MUN conference in Greece — handling every visa application, travel arrangement, accommodation, and logistical detail for every delegate entirely on my own.

Selective International Programs:

I was accepted into McKinsey & Company's Forward Program — McKinsey is the most prestigious management consulting firm in the world, and their Forward Program is a highly selective leadership development initiative. Almost no high schoolers globally get in. I was also selected for the Cambridge CCIR Finance Programme, an elite academic research program run under the University of Cambridge, where I engaged with university-level finance and economics content alongside students from top schools worldwide. On top of that, I qualified through the first round of the Financial Times Essay Competition — the FT is one of the world's most respected financial newspapers, and their essay competition draws thousands of applicants from elite schools globally.

International Experience & Skills:

I've traveled to 20+ countries across the world, which has given me a genuinely global perspective and strong cross-cultural communication skills. I independently manage the full accounting operations — budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting — for a 48-unit residential complex.
