I've been remixing songs for a bit, and I usually like to keep original elements of the song so it has the same feel, but I struggle to find/make certain key elements the same. My sound design is pretty beginner, I am understanding it and can tell it will get better soon. Some sounds I can remake easily, and others I can't come close to, and it is needed for the remix.

Example - The song I am making now has a very distinct bell/e piano with some extra articulation in the background, and I can't come close to making it or finding it, but it is crucial for the song.

What do you normally do for something like this, or do I just need better sound design?
