Anyone find UW's lack of response borderline offensive?

The first ever homicide in student housing in the school's history and they expect students and Nordheim Court residents to go along with their days like nothing happened, didn't even cancel or postpone classes on Monday

UIdaho cancelled classes in 2022 after the off-campus homicide of 4 students so it's not like this would be unprecedented, I just think the campus community needed and still needs time to grieve and the university isn't respecting that

Students and residents shouldn't be forced to choose between their academic responsibilities and their emotional needs, people are scared to leave their apartments, scared to walk to class, I can't imagine what Nordheim residents feel right now

There haven't been any concrete responses whatsoever outside of an email directing towards already-existing counseling resources, this isn't even mentioning the fact that multiple students have supposedly reported the suspect before and the university and police did nothing to remedy the situation then either
