Fibrous dysplasia in the neck of femur
Hello, I’m a 19 year old medical student. I underwent nail fixation 4 months ago for fibrous dysplasia involving the neck of my right femur.
The pain still hasn’t improved much and feels almost the same. I know it may still be early for complete recovery, but I wanted to ask if anyone has suggestions for managing the pain or improving endurance while standing/walking.
I’m especially worried because I have to attend clinical postings soon, which involve standing for long hours. Has anyone gone through something similar? Does it gradually get better with time?
