SEATTLE - LA - 3 WEEKS

Hello! We are a family of 4, two kids will be 7 and 6 when we go to America. We’re from the UK so this a big holiday for us and not until next year or even potentially 2028 but planning early helps us budget.

We’ve got a rough plan of 3 weeks to drive from Seattle to LA in July/August (due to school holidays).

We are not really city people, we live in a coastal area in England. We prefer beaches/nature though not huge hikes as our children will not walk too far. Of course want to see the obvious Olympia, Mount Rainer, Redwood, Yosemite.

The only must currently is Forks - a bit cliche I’m afraid but Twilight is still my comfort movie (guilty pleasure I know).

We’ve done a drive holiday before where we were driving everyday to a new place and would prefer to have a couple of nights in places to feel we actually have time there. Hopefully 3 weeks is enough?

Would love to hear the best stop over locations to explore the main national parks & any must-see destinations!! We’re considering a couple of days at the end to go to Disney but if time doesn’t allow we’ll skip this.
