Hi everyone,

I’m considering the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E GLACIAL for a dual‑GPU setup:

• Primary GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (3.5‑slot cooler, 320 × 135.75 × 71.6 mm)
• Secondary GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT used as a dedicated LSFG frame‑generation card

I know the board has two PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlots and supports an x8/x8 configuration when both are populated. What I can’t find is the actual slot spacing.

Could anyone with the board (or the manual/layout) please confirm:

1. The exact vertical spacing between PCIe Slot 1 and PCIe Slot 2 (in mm or “number of slot gaps”).
2. Whether a 3.5‑slot GPU (≈71.6 mm thick) in the top slot will still leave the second x16‑length slot usable for another GPU, or if it will be physically blocked.
3. Any recommended GPU placement / slot configuration for dual‑GPU use, and whether any M.2 slots should be avoided to keep both GPU slots at x8/x8.
