I’m trying to replace the exiting Roman tub with hand shower in my bathtub. It is Delta R4707. Delta sent me replacement parts, but no crimp rings. I’ve never soldered copper and there isn insulation on the bottom of the tub. How can I determine if crimp rings are sufficient vs soldering for this scenario? The existing copper appears to be soldered (see pic). Can I use crimp rings for all of these new connections? Everything pictured minutes the hot and cold hosing was sent to be new.
