Considering applying for a dream job that I’ve been wanting for two years now. Unfortunately my destination wedding is in 5 months and we have a 3 week honeymoon planned after. It comes out to exactly 4 weeks I would need off. I work in the travel industry so my current employer approved the time without a second thought. My prospective job is in the same field, but this is a lengthy amount of time for any industry, especially for a new hire. What do I do? Do I even bother with applying? I don’t want to miss this opportunity.
