I'm about to apply for British citizenship and started to prepare my documents earlier in the year. I got my referees sign the form and do the required with my photo a few months ago. Today, while reading the photo requirements for passports I noticed that on the gov.uk page it says: "passport photo must have been taken in the last month". One of my referees is in the UK so it's not difficult to get them to do it again, but the other one has moved abroad.

My question: does anyone know if the last month requirement is also valid for citizenship? I look about the same, so I'm not sure if it's worth getting photos taken again? Thanks in advance!
