First generation?

This question is currently throwing me for a loop. I don't typically identify as first-gen, but my parents immigrated here to get their master's degrees; both of them got their bachelor's in a different country. So technically I will be the first in my immediate family to complete a bachelor's degree in the United States, but not overall.

Letters of Rec? Who do I choose?

Hey all,

so i'm applying in this cycle, and I have my research LOR and dentist LOR locked in. For my remaining two recs, I'm in the extremely fortunate position of choosing between three of my former profs.

Two of them taught me in honors ochem previously.

the first one: is the chair of the chem dept, has written me a LOR before two days before the deadline (long story), but I only got a 3.4 in his class, which is relatively low compared to some of my other chem coursework. we also haven't had much one on one interaction.

the second one: is a tenured prof, has written me two LORs and one of them got me nominated by my school for a scholarship. I 4.0ed both of the two classes I took with him and have had multiple conversations with him, but I don't want to keep bugging him for LORs especially after they changed how recs are done with the questionnaires.

the third one: taught a large biology lecture I took. I did well in his class and he was an associate prof before he retired. we have had some really good conversations during his office hours, but since it was only one class and he's never written me any LORs I'm nervous the letter might not feel personal enough.

any thoughts would be super appreciated

DAT Retake?

What is the latest date I can retake my DAT? I am hoping to submit within a few days of the cycle opening, but I also don't think I could take my DAT in like a month even if I wanted to. If I wanted to retake in, say, July, would I have to wait to submit my application until I get the new scores?
