Village and Pillage 2 update

I have been seeing players finding that the pillager raids are boring farms to cheapen emerald trade price on villages rather being a heroic part for the player to accomplish. I think that Illagers should have a new weapon that gives them an explosive power for a raid, I present you:

Rockets.

They have originated all the way back to Song Dynasty in medieval times in China. They made a 2 stage rocket: Fire Dragon. It was a two stage rocket used to put down ships, (the rocket was powered by gunpowder, an item in minecraft). We know Minecraft already have a type of gunpowder rocket, the fireworks, not powerful, beautiful in launches, can be launched from crossbow on enemies and can do damage but don't do too much damage, this feature only exists in Java. My Idea is Illagers launch 3 types of rockets. (Illager rocket) 1: that is three blocks tall, 0.10 blocks thick, they are short ranged but they can travel up to 354 blocks before running out of fuel and falling to hit its impact and do a explotion. Common in difficulty easy and normal during Raids. 2nd one(Illager rocket 2): 5 blocks tall, 1 block thick, is launched directly from a pillager outpost and can travel up to 3,000 blocks before hitting a village, it then launches 6 arrows with fireworks strapped as the 2nd stage and impacts creating a firework explotion. Not too common, more common in difficulty normal, 3 of them are launched in the last air raid wave usually. Third one (Illager rocket 3): 10 blocks tall, 3 blocks thick, it is launched next to woodland mansion. Travels 7,500 blocks, breaks to small rocket, launches 3-5 tnt minecarts and the tnt minecarts hit on ground. Rare chance 3rd is used, same rare chance as finding a pink sheep naturally.

To prevent the Rockets from lagging the game, when it flies out of render distance, it dissapears and the game calculates its trajectory and where it will land, if the area it will land is player loaded, the game spawns in the rocket, and it hits impact, when it is going to land in a unloaded area, later on, if a player loads it, all they see is bomb craters from the rocket.

When the Air raid bar is being regenerated, the bell rings every 40 milliseconds telling everyone it is a AIR raid, usually, when the pillagers do a horn sound before attacking, they make a horn sound of goat horn "seek" where you can trace the sound's direction leading you to the pillagers, but for air raids, the horn sound is goat horn "call", and is being spammed one after another, sound is everywhere making it untraceable to find, only way to avoiding getting killed in a air raid is being in a cobblestone tower on the 1st floor or being in a cave to be safe from the explosions. When the air raids start, the game spawns high up rockets, depending on the type of rocket, if it is a Illager rocket 2 or 3, instead of spawning the rocket, it will spawn the final stage, it will spawn instead the 3-5 tnt minecarts or 6 firework strapped arrows.

We can't forget the air defence otherwise the rockets are OP (overpowered):

There will be a new item the size of a block named the Iron Cannon, has one inventory slot that can fit one stack of cannon balls, It can be found in shipwrecks. They are alos found in villages that is placed on the cobblestone tower but when spawned with only a enchanted version of it. The enchantment will make it automatic (move by itself), can detect the falling rockets, the enchantment name is Detection, there is 3 levels of it,

Detection 1: very common enchantment to find in a iron cannon spawned in a village, it has a detection range of 20 chunks, though it is not too good at stopping the rockets, but good at blocking incoming rocket waves of 2-3 rockets or slightly more, but not very good at barrages, struggles at blocking Illager rocket 2 and 3. This level is the most common for villages to have but not very strong making sure that players need to make it stronger.

Detection 2: a uncommon enchantment to find in a iron cannon spawned in a village though it is more better than detection 1 but not the best, the chances of it in a village by itself is the same chances of a chicken spawning from a egg being thrown in difficulty hard and normal. Can block medium barrage amount waves that reach up to 5-8, has detection range of 50 chunks, it struggles still with Illager rocket 2 but still it can block a decent amount of the arrows but a lot may get through.

I also made Detection 2 not the strongest and not very powerful to make sure that the player needs to handle the better protection, which brings us to:

Detection 3: The strongest enchantment found only in Trial chambers and is very good at blocking big barrages and is quite good at blocking Illager rocket 2 but still struggles at blocking Illager rocket 3. Has detection range of 100 chunks. You can also get Detection 3 enchantment from a rare chance of obtaining it from fishing.

The Iron cannon blocks the rockets by colliding the cannon ball at the rocket causing the rocket to explode mid air, if you launched the cannon ball from the tower, the cannon ball can reach up until 40 blocks above the cloud layer before slowing down and falls back down to the ground. If the interception focuses outside the render distance, when the cannon ball reaches outside chunks, it dissapears, the game will calculate based on the detection enchantment level of the chances of interception and if the game made it intercept, the game will play and explosion sound telling the player it has been intercepted.

Customise your rocket

You can create a rocket by using a Launch stand, you craft a paper tube (a paper tube is one block tall), a paper tube is crafted with 6 papers doing a circle just like how wood planks do a circle for a chest, then you place a paper tube, it is 0.10 blocks thick, if you place it the 2nd time, it is 1 block thick, the third time is placed for 2 block wide, 4th time for a three block wide but the rocket must be pointing up, 0 degrees. if you want it taller, place the paper tube on a paper tube and you can do it until 10 blocks, but at 10 blocks the rocket must be pointing up 0 degrees, with a loom, you can customise the color and art on the paper to decorate the rocket, then once the rocket has been constructed, right click it and it opens you a 2 slot inventory to put how much gunpowder to use, each slot is a stage and if you right click the nose, there is a 3 slot inventory you can put how much tnt (explosion strength) or place a dispenser to do another stage like dropping arrows or tnt minecarts or any else. you can adjust the launch stand to make the rocket aim at a degrees to aim on a place. When the Rocket is launched any type of rocket should be able to reach above the clouds or in some cases above hight limit. The rockets can travel through unloaded chunks and the game will calculate where it is and when it is about to hit, the rocket is loaded in that area and it hits. if the target area is unloaded, there will be a explosion but no body will see it.

To launch the rocket, use flint and steel and light the bottom of the rocket and in 3 seconds the rocket activates and launches fast to the sky depending its size.

if the rocket is less than 5 blocks tall, it is a one stage rocket.

skulk dust

you can get skulk dust by taking a skulk sensor and using a crafting table to convert to dust, one skulk sensor = 4 dust, by putting in your rocket, you turned your rocket into a guided rocket, to tell it to go hit that area, take a book a write the cordinates and leave it in the nose inventory, there are three inventory slots, one to put how much tnt and 2 for the dust and 3 for the book and you then aim it up 0 degrees and launch it.

If you don't add the book, the guided rocket becomes a air defence rocket, the skulk dust has a detection range of 200 chunks and if you mixed amathyst with skulk dust, you make the detection range 400 chunks. This type of air defence can help block the Illager rocket 3

also on a Hardcore world and on any other difficulty, there is a small chance that if you have gotten hero of the village more then 15-20 times there is a relatively rare chance that a pillager patrol will spawn specifically next to your base but only if you the player is there, then after a short amount of time, they despawn then a few minutes later, you will start seeing barely red potions particles all over your base, this will tell the player that the Illagers have launched a rocket attack on your base. After 15 minutes or after an hour, the game activates the "call" goat horn sound being spammed and for 60 seconds, you must take cover, then during the 60 seconds, if you have a detection enchanted cannon in your base, it will shoot up to the sky and the cannon balls will disappear above the clouds showing that the rockets are trying to be blocked high up, then after 60 seconds, tnt minecarts and/or firework strapped arrows will spawn and rain down. But if you make the guided rocket without the book and turn it to air defence, during the red potion particle phase, a guided rocket will launch by itself and goes straight up to the sky and despawns, when it despawns after going out of render distance, the game will calculate how high the rocket altitude it can reach and how long it takes to reach that altitude depending on the rocket's design, then when it reaches its altitude limit, the game will see how its accuracy at blocking rockets is and if yes then the game will play a echoy distant explosion and after that if the red particles dissapeared, then the incoming rocket was successfully blocked, if they are still there, it means there is still more coming.

pilllager outposts have two rocket launcher areas that are guided and only 2 blocks tall and 1 block thick, when a player flies by, the rocket comes and tries to hit the player but it can really do lots of damage (6 hearts) of damage in hard/ hardcore mode to a weak armored player or no armoured player, in normal, it is 5 hearts, in easy it is 4 1/2 hearts. the rocket is very short range. Mansions have the same thing except they have 4 launchers and the rocket can reach 40 blocks above the top roof of the mansion. But this type of rocket do not have the fastest speeds to catch up with a elytra pilot at full speed and you can easily manoeuvre it.

Also, I noticed that cartographers are the only villagers who know there are other villages and give you maps carelessly to places, and only the wandering trader actually travels from village to village, well that will change slightly.

I am thinking to add this: instead of shipwrecks, include also trade ships, the game during generation can scan if there are two villages one on the left side of a massive ocean and the other on the right side of the ocean they spawn on the two villages a dock to send resources across the sea. And to add the pillaging part, illagers will have dark ships and they launch rockets at trade ships (the rocket is very similar to the huolongchushui except it has a pillager head instead of dragon head), also the illager ships will have iron cannons and inside of the villager trade ships is filled with barrels to the brim! full of items you would find in villager trades, this shows the villages give each other recourses. If you are in a minecraft boat and you are limited on food and you are on low health, in your render distance a village trade ship will spawn. The villager's defences on the trade ship will be the same iron cannons used against rockets in villages accept it will be used to block the rockets for the ship. There will be a bell in the ship since it tells them the danger incoming and if there are more than 9 villagers in the trade ship, 1-2 parrots spawn to fit the classic boat vibes. In the ship there is rooms of beds with windows for the villagers to sleep in, when it rains, all the villagers go in the ship's cabins. If a trade ship spawns in your render distance and you stay in the ship, eventually it will move you all the way to the village it is going to dock in, the game will make sure that ship can dock, the one you might stay on. A village dock can carry up to two trade ships. The enchanted books and armor and tools in the trade ship will be located in the deepest part of the ship, the back of the ship, and there will be a new type of villager, it is the Sailor, they stay only in ships and they trade very similar to fishing villagers and their job is going to a room in the ship with maps and they stare on a map and they map the area and calculate (like in real life sailors use compasses to predict travel) and they make sure to steer away from pillager territory and make sure to stay out of the range from the water rockets (the rocket similar to the huolongchushui except with a pillager head) they also can trade you a compass for two emeralds. when you the player are in a village next to the ocean with a dock a trade ship will come by being spawned in your render distance and upon arrival, they get out of the ship and a fisher villager comes and the sailor villagers carry barrels on their hands, you can see the barrel and they give it to the fisher and during gossip time, they give the items in the barrel (the fisher) to everyone then at sunset, the fisher goes into the cartoghrapher's work place lodge and the cartoghrapher and fisher look at each other and they do constant Hurr sounds and agree sounds showing to players they are planning the routes and trade shipping (similar in gossip time), then when the moon reaches the top of the sky, they finish planning and when leaving the cartoghrapher work place they run to their homes so by running they evade almost all the mobs. When morning comes, the fisher goes out of his home and starts going to every villager and the work villagers give the fisher items they want to send to the other village and keep the ones they keep for their village and the fisher takes the items and puts them in barrels and take the barrels (holding the block in their hands) and goes to the dock and gives it to the sailors, then the fisherman goes back to his normal scedule in the village, at mid day before gossip time, the cartoghrapher comes and gives them maps showing the player they are getting maps to go to the other village, they then get ready to un dock the ship and the ship goes all the way from the render distance until it leaves the player's render distance and despawns making it look like it left the horizon and travels by itself. The wandering trader rides the trade ship sometimes. There will be in libaries in villages three types of books that you can actually read, but all of them are in Enchanted book language, I want to speak to the mojang devs privately to show them the enchanting table language.

PLEASE EXCEPT THIS MOJANG! I WORKED VERY HARD ON THIS IDEA!!!

(this took me hours to write)

this update should be available on both java and bedrock
