Kboré 1.0: A New IPTV and VOD Player Experience for Nintendo Switch
I'm happy to announce the launch of Kboré (it pronounces kah-boh-REH) version 1.0, a lightweight IPTV and VOD player designed for Nintendo Switch homebrew users who want a clean, fast, and practical way to enjoy their own streaming lists.
Kboré was built with a focus on performance, usability, and a better playback experience. The app supports live TV streams and VOD content, offering a simple interface that makes it easy to navigate through categories, channels, movies, and shows.
One of the main goals of Kboré is smooth playback. The player includes smart stream management to help keep audio and video synchronized, reduce stuttering, and improve long-session stability. Whether watching live channels or VOD content, Kboré aims to provide a more comfortable and reliable viewing experience.
For VOD content, the player includes useful playback controls such as pause and resume, progress tracking, current time display, total duration, and quick seek commands. Users can jump forward or backward using the controller, making it easier to continue watching or skip parts of a video.
Kboré also includes lazy loading for items and logos, helping the interface remain responsive while browsing large lists. Instead of blocking the full screen during loading, the app uses a more discreet loading indicator, keeping navigation cleaner and smoother.
