Cystic hygroma
Hi everyone, I’m about 24 weeks pregnant. My latest prenatal scan found a 42mm cystic hygroma on my baby’s neck, armpit and upper chest. I’ve had amniocentesis done but chromosome results are still pending.
I’m really struggling with my decision. Could anyone with similar experience share advice? What are the survival odds for this size hygroma? If chromosomes turn out normal, can this cyst resolve in pregnancy, or will the baby need lifelong surgeries and face ongoing health issues after birth? Any personal insights would be much appreciated.
