Passed CAPM AT/AT/AT/AT - study tips for beginners.
Hey everyone; (had to repost)
I just wanted to reassure everyone who wants to take the exam.
I passed the CAPM this week with AT in all domains.
Here is what I would do if I wanted to start fresh as a beginner in steps in order.
1.Take Adam Ramdayal’s course CAPM course and mock exams bundle. He makes things very clear for beginners and covers key concepts. His mock exams are nice and he has a free 50 question with correct answers video on YouTube.
2.Start doing Pocket Prep for CAPM. The questions are long and annoying however they help remind you of key concepts and help identify uno wine concepts. If you come across a question you don’t understand take a screen shot of the correct answer and write the concept in a notes tab to look up later. The level up and missed questions sections are key!!
Buy Landini’s book and do his mock exams and quizzes on his website. His questions are close to the real test questions.
If you want go further, buy the PMI study hall and do the practice tests and mocks. It’s worth it to see who they formulate questions.
5. Optional: If you really want to go further buy the PMI study hall and do the practice questions and mock exams.
did the in person training with PMI which I hated. I found AR so much more structured.
The key is to put yourself in the PM mindset: analysis, transparency, compliance and communication.
Take your time during the exam to flag and reread responses. I took the virtual exam and everything went fine. If you such at math they have a calculator!
Remember you are capable!
