Long story short, we closed on this house last week and needed to get rid of old stinky carpets. While doing so, we found this nightmare. I know we are going to need to open up the wall to assess the water damage and get a new roof asap (that seems to be the source of the leak). Upon further investigation we realized the top of the window also seems to be rotted out. Does any one have any advice on how to handle this right but also cost affective? If you’ve experienced something like this how did you handle it? Is a situation like this as bad as it looks? What would be worst case scenario? Thanks in advance
We just bought our first home and it will need a roof! Has anyone installed a metal roof onto their double wide? What materials did you use and how much did it cost? Would you say it is worth it?
For context, our home is a 1400 sq ft double wide with 2 skylights. We are in NH and get a lot of snow so our thought would be that a metal roof would be better.
I know cost varies for material and location but trying to figure out if getting a metal roof would be worth it. First time doing any of this so I have no idea what I should look out for!
