My first DIY Shower

Just looking for feedback or reassurance here. First of all I just want to say, this is definitely a lot harder than those YouTube videos make it seem. Anyways, went with a hybrid waterproofing system. Dry pack mud pan for shower base, kerdi membrane over that and seams and go board walls. I know go board doesn’t need kerdi but I read mixed reviews about tile sticking to their sealant so better safe than sorry. I used kerdi membrane on the drywall up top. Was being lazy and didn’t want to remove it. I had some low spots on the drywall that I tried to fix with thinset. Hoping to move on to tile soon. Any recommendations from here before I move on?

Fist DIY Shower Pan Question

First DIY shower pan so please go easy on me. Did a dry pack mud pan with Mapei 4:1 and water proofed yesterday with the Kerdi membrane. I haven’t done a water test yet but after I installed the membrane I noticed a divot before my drain. It’s about 1/8 of an inch deep. Don’t know if it was from my mud pack or from kneeing on it. The slope from back wall to the drain is on point. Not sure if this will be a problem.

Assuming water collects there during water test, would filling it in with thin set before tile be a good option? Also, would I have to apply another piece of Kerdi over the divot or is just filling it with thin set a good enough fix?
