21 Years Old, Hearing Loss

I attached photos (they might be gross for some).

Long story short, I’ve had hearing problems since I was an infant. I had chronic ear infections and abnormalities on hearing tests. When my insurance switched when I was 13, I no longer got my ears checked annually and my new doctor never mentioned my hearing. My ear infections stopped when I got tubes placed (when I was 6), but I feel like I cannot hear as well as I should.

I have to have my headphones on full blast to hear, I constantly get comments on how loud I talk, and I’m a constant “What”er when talking to people because I cannot hear what’s said the 1st, 2nd, or sometimes even 3rd time.

I got an earwax cleaner with a camera thinking I had a blockage, but turns out my ears aren’t as gross as I thought! I attached the photos to show my eardrums to see if anyone had any experience on if anything looks abnormal.

I just feel dramatic about it because I can hear for the most part, but when I get comments from friends and family I feel like I should be concerned. I don’t know whether to just ignore it or if I should look into it further with hearing tests and talking to my doctor. I just want to hear others experiences and any advice.
