Help im trying to make a complaint to UT Health

Im trying to explain my situation in the complaint form but does this make sense and will they just give me my damn refill?!

Help:

Schedulers at UT Health answered my call on April 14th, 2026 regarding my need for a prescription refill. I didn’t have an appointment set so they put me on her schedule for May 19th, 2026. She had only called in a 30 day prescription on 4/14. And when I scheduled, the woman I spoke to said that as long as i have an appointment scheduled, she would fill my meds, which has always been the case. Last night i noticed i only had one tablet left. When I checked my pharmacy app, I didnt have anything in progress so i called to have the refill called in. She said she had an opening today at 2pm so i agreed and got notified it would be telehealth as planned. I understand patients have to be seen in person at least once a year but no one informed me that i was due to be seen in person. (I had a baby in August and i still have to look at a calendar to know what day it is). Sonia rodolfo called 1 hour before my appointment today to tell me she would not write me a prescription unless i came in person. I live across town and can guarantee i would not make it over there in time with my two small kids.
I told her that the schedulers should have mentioned that when I scheduled previously. Also she should’ve realized i would be out of the 30 day supply before my 5/19/2026 appt. Anyways, I explain that I get the policy and im not trying to be difficult but i cannot miss a dose of this medication. She said that she “doesn’t know what happened and its not her fault”. But it is definitely not my fault and I dont understand why she hung up on me before helping me out.
Dr Plitzka put me on this medication as a preteen and if i wouldve been informed of the side effects and possible withdrawal symptoms, i absolutely would’ve tried other solutions for my panic attacks. But since i can’t go back in time, i always reach out if im not seeing a refill and ive never had issues getting it filled since i genuinely cannot function with out it. Brain shakes, lethargy, tremors, drop in milk supply (breastfeeding) are just a few of the effects of missing a dose of medication
